As part of its subsidies in 2018, the city of Senec supported our activities in the amount of EUR 2,500.
As part of the project and community activities for children and youth Senca, we implemented preventive and activating activities, the aim of which was to prevent the occurrence of adverse situations and support the social inclusion of children, youth and adults through motivation, education, activation and volunteering. In the community center, we have implemented these goals through the following activities and programs:
- Preventions housing programs; conflict prevention and resolution programs.
- Support for volunteering – consisted of voluntary assistance of youth and adults in the implementation of activities in the Community Centres (eg special and community activities, tutoring), as well as in supporting the volunteering of clients of centers in other institutions or abroad (for example in European Voluntary Service programs).
- Hobby activities – the goal of hobby activities in the community center was to ensure active, quality, safe and meaningful leisure time of children and youth, development of life skills, competencies, abilities, reducing the incidence of socio-pathological phenomena and risk behavior and support building mutual contacts and acceptance between children and young people from different groups (children from different social strata).
- Leisure activities and hobby groups
- Low-threshold clubs for children and youth – in the summer months – in the form / within a day camp.
- To increase the awareness of the public and especially potential social clients among the citizens of Senec who need social and psychological help such as prevention of socio-pathological phenomena in Senec or individual prevention of negative consequences of socio-pathological phenomena in the family.
- Strengthening cooperation between the local government and the non-profit sector in the town of Senec within the implementation and organization of joint community activities in Senec.
